Bookings Conditions and Cancellation Policy
Bookings and payments are made through our online course management platform, Arlo on our website. Payment can be made in two ways:
- Online via Stripe using your credit card – please select Credit card (online) during Registration on the website. Payment via this method will ensure immediate registration on the course selected.
- Offline by either bank transfer or cheque – please select either of these two methods during Registration on the website. However, your registration cannot be guaranteed until payment has been received. Bank account details will be provided during the Registration process.

By cheque: Made payable to LWDW Training and send to Event Registration, LWDW, Office 2, 139 High Street, Lewes BN7 1XS.
Confirmation of booking
Once we have received your booking and payment for a course, you will receive an email confirmation and, if you are booking a Foundation course, with instructions about enrolment. We will also notify you of the final date for receipt of your outstanding balance, if applicable. The full balance becomes due six weeks before the start of the course at the latest.
Booking a place represents a commitment to every session of the course booked until the end date. Before booking please ensure that you can commit to all dates and keep these free of other commitments.
Failure to attend sections of the course may mean you will be unable to complete the course. We cannot guarantee you will be able to join another training group to complete missing sections.
For blended and on-line training you will require a computer with a speaker and microphone or headset a webcam and good internet access. We cannot be held responsible for poor connectivity.
Cancellations of face to face, or blended sessions - the following is an adjustment to our regular Booking Terms and Conditions during Covid
- Should we need to cancel the course due to government restrictions around COVID then you would be entitled to a full refund.
- If in the case that you are unable to attend the course due to local COVID guidelines or the need to self isolate because of contact or symptoms, (we may require evidence of this) and the course itself is still able to run, then we would refund the cost of the course less the deposit amount – 20% of the full course fee. The deposit can be transferred to another course and you will be kept on a high priority list.
All cancellations must be received in writing either by email to firstname.lastname@example.org or by letter to the address below.
If your cancellation is for another reason, the following conditions will apply:

|Over 14 days from the booking date||20% of fee (non-refundable deposit element)|
|Over 28 days before the start of the course||25% of the full course fee|
|14 – 28 days before the start of the course||50% of the full course fee|
|0 – 14 days before the start of the course||100% of the full course fee|
We regret that requests to transfer to a future course rather than complete cancellation will be considered only in exceptional circumstances. Where a transfer is agreed over 28 days before the start date of the course and a place on a subsequent course can be confirmed at the date of cancellation, an administration fee of £50 (plus any increase in the course price, if applicable) will be charged. In other circumstances cancellation fees will normally apply as above and participants will need to re-book at current rates. LWDW will always exercise sensitivity with regard to learners’ personal circumstances.
We will endeavour to reschedule any sessions that are not, for any reason, able to be hosted by LWDW.
In the unlikely event of cancellation by LWDW it should be noted that we cannot be held liable for any participants’ travel, accommodation or any costs incurred, other than the course fee.
